Wadi El Gemal National Park [Wadi El Gamal], is a spectacular national reserve and one of the rare off-the-beaten-track places to visit in Egypt. Hidden between the majestic mountains of the Red Sea, the protected area is home to the original trails of local nomads. Home to the astonishing wildlife of Egyptian and African birds, Camels and Coral Reefs, the protected area of Wadi el Gemal (Valley of the Camels in Arabic) is one of the must-visit places in the Red Sea. The park is located 40 km from Marsa Allam and 325 km from Hurghada and overing almost 7,000 km2 of land and sea, Wadi El Gamal park offers the opportunity to enjoy its coral reef fringed beaches and the safari into the mountains wonders including exploration of natural life.
